Prices are set at the time of each litter based on parentage, number of puppies in litter, and litter availability. We typically only have 1-2 litters in a calendar year and are very meticulous about how the puppies are cared for. We are not a kennel facility and raise the puppies out of our home so they are very people oriented and spoiled. Raising each litter of puppies is a 24/7 job while we have a new litter.
All puppies come with first two vaccination rounds, broad spectrum worming, checked negative for dermoid sinus, AKC registration paperwork, contract agreement with 24-month genetic health guarantee, care recommendations, and pdf puppy packet.
AKC Limited Registration is included with every puppy. It is for dogs sold as companion dogs (pets). They are eligible to compete in all AKC sponsored events such as Obedience, Tracking, Field Trials, Hunting Tests, Lure Coursing, Agility, Earthdog, etc. but they cannot be bred or shown in an AKC conformation dog show. When they are registered under your name you still receive a pedigree and all other information pertaining to their breed. Companion dogs may be show potential or they may have minor cosmetic flaws in accordance with breed standard to be considered show potential. These minor cosmetic flaws (such as "too much white") do not have an impact on health. There is more information on the AKC website about Limited Registration here: Registration Information.
AKC Full Registration includes the Limited Registration benefits plus the ability to show them in AKC sponsored conformation dog shows as well as transfer of breeding rights. In accordance with this, show potential puppies have attributes that would potentially allow them to compete in AKC sponsored dog shows or to be bred according to AKC rules. They are generally clear from undesirable cosmetic "flaws" that you would not want present if you chose to show the dog and/or wanted to breed them in the future. It may be available to established breeders or those who can verify they have done the proper research. Lifetime show/breeding rights are an additional $500 to the price of the puppy. We do not keep co-own contracts, so once you have adopted one of our puppies with full registration you have full control over breeding/show rights. Puppies are placed in Full Registration homes on a case by case basis.
